To provide context for the oral histories and artifacts we have collected, the following timeline documents important events or moments in the history of Jewish people at Davidson College and within the Davidson College community. We have also written two essays on the Presbyterian tradition in Davidson’s policies and Jewishness in the greater Southern context.
