[Page 3] In the death of one of its charter members Mamie Withers the Book Lovers Club would in this minute record its sense of great love.
Attractive in person pleasing in manner warm hearted in her attitude towards friends generous in offering her services in every good cause faithful in her duties as a teacher in the public School and in Sunday School. Appreciative of books and literature in general. She possessed in large measure the qualities and virtues that made her an exceptionally fine and esteemed and loved member of the Club. It is with genuine sorrow and with nothing but sweet memories of our friendship and intercourse with her that we here make this brief record of her life and her passing hence.
