Description
[Page 1] After various futile attempts to assemble themselves, the Book Club finally held a meeting in October with Mrs. Dupuy, our retiring President. And after the customary interesting and heated discussion, the following officers were elected. Mrs. W.A. Price, President,
[Page 2] Mrs. W.P. Martin, Vice President, & Mrs. C. L. Grey, Secretary. To the surprise of the greater number of the Club, most marked discontent with our last year’s list of Books was expressed by two members. Later on at a meeting held with Mrs. Price a brilliant member of the Book Committee suggested, that to obviate all dissatisfaction each member be empowered to select her
[Page 3] own book. This dazzling scheme promises great success and so with bated breath we await the carrying out of programs, that under this new order of things must prove both interesting and instructive.
