In 1900, he is listed as living in Davidson with his wife Alice, daughters Mary, Jessie, Annah, and Nellie, son Paul, stepson Walter Johnston, stepdaughter Jennie Johnston, mother in law Dilsey Johnston, and brother in law Tobias Johnston. Referenced in Ralph Johnson's autobiography as his paternal stepgrandfather. Could potentially be the same person as Richard Robertson.
